Playa Del Carmen… A true paradise for nature lovers, history buffs and party people alike… You’re going to love Playa Del Carmen… everyone does. It’s a beautiful, quiet vacation paradise 45 minutes down the coast from Cancun. Playa Del Carmen (or PDC in our words) is known mainly for white sand beaches, turquoise waters and a laid-back bohemian vibe. Once a sleepy fishing village, Playa del Carmen is now a Riviera Maya destination in its own right. Here, lively bars and cool boutiques sit next to local taquerias and chic luxury hotels—all with a bit more authentic Mexican style than you’ll find up the coast in Cancun. By day, hit the beach or hop the ferry to Cozumel, and at night, stroll La Quinta (the city’s main pedestrian thoroughfare) for some people watching and the perfect margarita. And if all of that’s not enough, amazing diving and snorkeling are just offshore, while the ancient ruins of Coba tower over the inland jungles nearby. There are so many fun things to do! The famous 5th Avenue is a pedestrian walkway that runs through town and is lined with shops, restaurants, bars, night clubs and palm trees with twinkly lights. It is truly a paradise for nature lovers, history buffs, and party people alike. (ref: www.playadelcarmen.com and www.tripadvisor.com)

Cancun… Where beauty meets culture With its gorgeous turquoise seas, powdery white-sand beaches, and vibrant coral reefs, it’s no surprise that Cancun is one of Mexico’s most popular resort areas. Hotels, restaurants, malls, and nightclubs line either side of Boulevard Kukulkan, known as the Hotel Zone, which runs down the middle of the 15-mile-long sandbar. This is where you’ll find many of the city's all-inclusive hotels catering to families on vacation or couples on their honeymoon and everything in between. As you venture closer to the city’s downtown, “El Centro”, you’ll see a more local side of life, peppered with markets and traditional restaurants, as well as quality business class hotels and hostels. Cancun’s a pretty well-known spot for spring breakers (and spring breakers at heart)—but its fun-loving spirit, miles of resorts, and nonstop nightlife is only one small part of the story. The city is one of Mexico’s all-around gems—literally made for vacationing. Its velvety beaches are some of the best the Caribbean has to offer, while scuba divers and snorkeling buffs alike will find plenty of action in the surf, including the Museo Subacuático de Arte, with its more than 500

underwater sculptures. On the outskirts of the city, sites like the pyramids of Chichen Itza give a deep-dive on the area’s sacred Mayan heritage. (ref: https://www.mexicancaribbean.travel/cancun/ and www.tripadvisor.com)

Nicaragua… This Central American Country is home to Beautiful Beaches, Epic Surf, and a Rich Cultural History

Nicaragua is a postcard-worthy destination that harkens back to simpler travel times. Lined with emerald-green coasts dotted with old-school

fishing villages, it's a place where you can surf nearly empty lineups as if you were still in the '70s. I've sailed around its Pacific coast in a catamaran, stopping at deserted islands to wa tch dolphins frolic by. I've danced salsa in a corner bar in Granada, one of the oldest colonial cities in Latin America. I've ridden motorcycles through dense jungle trails in Popoyo, had gallo pinto on the side of the Pan-American Highway, and made friends that will last a lifetime. But these experiences barely scratch the surface of why Nicaragua is one of my favorite destinations. For starters, Nicaragua is not for everyone. It's rugged and traditional, with a bit of edge and a bloody past. But it's also home to a rich cultural heritage and friendly locals who go out of their way to get you the most delicious seafood, help you catch a wave, or show you the way around the backroads. Tulum… Instagrammable worthy!!

Yes, Tulum may well be one of the most Instagrammed spots in Mexico, with plenty of smoothie stands and yoga retreats, but the Caribbean beach town is so much more. In between dips in the cerulean waters, you can hike through dense jungle and explore a subterranean river at LabnaHa Eco Park. Or tour the ancient Mayan ruins that tower over town. (Tulum was the last city inhabited by the indigenous group.) Or hop on an ATV for an off-roading adventure across the sugary sand dunes. And after all that heart-pumping activity, eat your heart out at the authentic mezcalerias, low-key beach shacks, and celeb-chef, fine-dining spots. Costa Rica – Pura Vida!

Embraced by the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica has been attracting eco-tourists for decades, thanks to rich biodiversity and abundant wildlife. Here you’ll find splendid beaches that spill into sparkling blue waters, peaceful conservation areas, and outstanding adventure sports. Get in touch with ancient civilizations at the National Museum or tiptoe to the edge of a crater at Poás Volcano National Park. Surfers will dig the unparalleled conditions of the Guanacaste province. This peaceful Central American country boasts extensive coastlines along both the Caribbean and Pacific. In addition to world-class beaches, Costa Rica has some of the most bio-diverse ecosystems on earth. Scientists, who invented ziplines as a means of studying the many layers of the country's cloud forests, say five percent of the world's species are found here. For anyone who hasn't been to Africa yet, the wildlife watching is unparalleled. Think slumbering sloths, majestic scarlet macaws, tree frogs as pretty as they are poisonous, and thousands of nesting sea turtles (who leave behind hundreds of thousands of hatchlings). With dogged determination, they all thrive living in the shadow of some of the world's most active volcanoes. (ref: www.tripadvisor.com, www.visitcostarica.com)
